General
Counsellors do not specialise in any particular area and are
primarily responsible for the overall activity programme and
care of a small group of children. You are therefore required
to have extensive childcare experience.

just an individual who enjoys travel, meeting new people,
sports, activities and working outdoors in a fun environment!
To be a camp counsellor you'll need an enormous amount of
energy and enthusiasm, as it is a demanding role.
The children

required to be with the children for 24 hours a day and they
will expect you to be a role model, teacher, mediator, comedian
and friend.

you can make a child's summer the best ever, then you are
a PERFECT candidate! Camp America is part of the America Institute
