| The interview stage is really easy. Well when i went with CCUSA it was. They pretty much just went through my application with me and asked me if there were any other skills that I could put down and just asked me a few questions |

After reading this forum I feel a little better.
I'm just so scared of being rejected cause I've been looking forward to this since January.
What camp are you hoping to go back to? |

| I still have to wait to get an email back from my camp director to see if I can go back but if I do it will be Camp Westwind in Oregon. If you apply as soon as applications you will have a really high chance of being placed. You will be fine |

yea i looked it up earlier but i kinda want them open so i can pay up my returner fee's and not spend it on holiday,
Mind u i seem to remember the app's opened earlier 2 years ago ? then again it did seem to take a while for the applications to get in motion as they still have particpants from the previous summer still there lol
I just want to go bk to the place i had the best summer ever lol _________________ Camp 09 - Placed at Golden Slipper Camp - awesome

well, if am honest i missed a year because of a girl i've fallen for, but i've got the fact that I turned 20 two days ago and this summer wasn't all that great compared to camp and i won't have many more chances to do camp again.
Also if my relationship with her is worth anything we can survive the time period and it should make us stronger she will be 18 so she can make her own choices about what she decides to do and yes it will be prehaps one of the best summers of your life
I see your from derby ?
where abouts ?
Uni ?
I assume it'll be ya first year, what camp would you like to end up at and what would you like to be instructing _________________ Camp 09 - Placed at Golden Slipper Camp - awesome

Aww that's nice. Its a test of your relationship, the whole if you can survive this you can survive any thing.
I only just 18. I'm going to Derby uni from September. Just a bit worried that uni will finish too late and it will turn out I can't do it.
I don't care what camp I'm at, I opted out of disability cause that takes a bit more. As long as I get to go I don't care.
I want to be a general counsellor so I get to do a bit of everything. _________________ Summer 2011 - My first summer at camp |

Well if your worried about university finishing too late my advice to you is to e-mail the course leader of your course ?
Which course are you doing ? I finished my course at derby uni on the 14th of May this year. As i was studying BA education studies
Its great that your open enough to want to be a general counsellor and try a bit of everything, however i would advise your self to at least specify that you could lead on a specific activity or so as i see camp director tend to look for people who can lead as well as follow.
It will certainly help your application if your female as there tend to be alot more female applicants than male. _________________ Camp 09 - Placed at Golden Slipper Camp - awesome

That's not a bad idea, I might do that now. Thanks for the advise.
I'm doing media production, well nothing is set in stone cause I haven't got my results yet.
I do have football that I can lead in, cause that's what i know the most of, or maybe arts and crafts.
I heard that it was better if you were male, cause there are less? _________________ Summer 2011 - My first summer at camp |
