Camp
Nashoba North, located in southern Maine, offers exciting
summer adventure for 180 boys and girls over 40 activities
on land and water. International clientele, fabulous
cuisine, generous time off and salary, and the opportunity
to meet new friends and learn valuable skills.
Nashoba
North is nestled on eighty acres of pine woods and
open fields. Campers enjoy breathtaking mountain views
and serene peacefulness. The camp offers crystal clear
water for swimming, sailing, waterskiing, windsurfing,
canoeing and fishing.
Nashoba
North offers four, seven, and eight week sessions
to approximately 200 boys and girls between 7 and
15 who hail from many countries around the world.
All counselors live with approximately 6-10 campers
and one other counselor in a cabin.
Staff
Mostly
college students aged 20-27, International counselors
come from approximately eight different countries
including the US. About 70% return from year to year,
teachers and graduate students comprise a large percentage
of our staff.
Staff
are hired to teach a specific activity area. This
is a great feeling to have knowing that all the Nashoba
staff members are equally talented and highly competent
in their prescribed area. All staff live with children
with the exception of support staff, nurses and administrators.

Jobs
At
Nashoba we offer 5 one hour classes a day, six days
a week. Sunday morning is the camper sign up time
for weekly classes followed by a quieter afternoon
schedule. An exciting evening activity is planned
for the whole camp every night.
